Design a Matera Map Poster
Matera, in the southern region of Basilicata, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the world. Its famous Sassi districts are carved straight into a limestone ravine, a honeycomb of cave dwellings, churches, and stepped alleys tumbling down to the Gravina canyon — a street plan unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Matera — the city's layout
A custom map poster of Matera, Italy turns a meaningful location into personalized wall art — completely free with MapPoster.
A map of Matera captures the labyrinth of the Sassi clinging to the edge of the gorge, dense and dramatic. Pale limestone cream, sun-bleached stone grey, or warm tufa gold suit its ancient, otherworldly character.
